2026 PDE Submission Testing and Certification Updates
CMS published the 2026 PDE Submission Testing and Certification Protocol and the 2026 Testing and Certification Scenario Matrix on October 31st, 2025 on the EDI Onboarding and Connectivity page of the CSSC Operations website. These documents provide an overview of the certification process new PDE submitters are required to follow prior to submitting production PDE data.
2026 PDE Testing and Certification files may be submitted on (or after) November 17, 2025. All new PDE submitters for 2026 must successfully receive certification by no later than January 31, 2026.
Existing submitters are not required to recertify but may submit test files as part of their end-to-end testing for 2026.
CMS also published the 2026 Annual PDE Data Submission Timeline for your reference on the CSSC Operations website under Drug Data Processing System (DDPS).
